What is a Guardian Home?

Here at The Moon Doodles, we strongly believe every dog deserves to be a part of a loving family. We don’t believe that any dog should be raised in a kennel. Kennel raised dogs do not get the proper socialization, love and care that is needed to be a happy, well mannered, and a loving furbaby. Our Guardian Home Program benefits everyone involved, most importantly, the dog!​Our Guardian Home Program allows local families the opportunity to receive a "pick of the litter" Australian Labradoodle or Goldendoodle puppy from The Moon Doodles at a low cost. The puppy will live with their Guardian Family as a part of their family, while The Moon Doodles retains the breeding rights for the dog during the contract period (after 3-4 litters for the females and a period of time for the males). Once the Guardian Dog has completed their breeding career, he or she will be spayed/neutered at my expense and then the contract is signed over for full ownership to the Guardian Family.​

Guardian Home Qualifications:

In order to guarantee the safety and health of the guardian home dog/puppy there are certain requirements to qualify for our Guardian Home Program.​

You must:

• Own your home
• Have a fully fenced yard
• Ensure that your puppy is well socialized
• Provide veterinary care when needed
• Ensure that your dog will not be left for more than an average of 4 hours each day
